Similar to your observation made in your Little Quiapo rveiew, many Filipino restaurants are disappointing and can\`t hold a candle to home-cooked Filipino food. Fairfax Inn is one of the few exceptions in the area. Very solid dishes and some outstanding ones. As a diner / lunch counter, it\`s a great place to introduce to people who haven\`t tried the cuisine before. The dinuguan is outstanding.
